The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is a feast commemorating the martyrdom at Rome
of the apostles Saint Peter and Paul of Tarsus. It is also called as the Solemnity of Saints
Peter and Paul.
In the Roman Catholic calendar of saints, the solemnity of Saint Peter and Saint Paul is
celebrated in the season of solemnity.
For Eastern Catholics and the Eastern Orthodox Christians this feast also marks the end
of the Apostles Fast
